So, the Westboro Baptist Church out of Kansas is going to protest tonight's NBA game in Oklahoma City between the Thunder and the Houston Rockets.
For those of you who don't know, these are the same people who protest anything. Military funerals, the West explosion funerals, all saying America is going to be like Sodom and Gomorrah due to the gays in the nation....and are against just about any other denomination, religion or church...other Baptists, Methodists, Presbyterians, Muslims, Hindus, Orthodox, Catholics...etc....
Now, while I am in favor of First Amendment rights, at some point you need to realize you are not doing anything but making a damn fool of yourself.
How do they pay for all these trips to protest?
These goobs even have numbers of people " Cast into Hell" while visiting this site.....You have to wonder what eternity is really going to be like for them????
"How do they pay for all these trips to protest?"
ReplyDeleteThe answer to this is they are a church ran by a family of lawyers. they take inside donations from members, but a large portion of the $X00,000 they spend every year traveling for pickets is profited by lawsuits.
they sue anyone and everyone including townships and cities that "impede on their right to protest" or anyone that assaults/attacks them during their pickets. During the 1990s Topeka, KS was a major cash pinata for the Phelps where they used to (and probably still do) picket daily.
